Non-Duality: Life as a Delicious Adventure
I have been hosting explorations into how to experience life in a more satisfying, more delicious, way for almost 20 years. My interest has been mostly centered on non-dualist traditions. These traditions claim that our everyday way of experiencing life often leads us to suffering in the forms of anxiety, guilt, anger, and depression. Freedom lies in seeing for oneself that there is a unity underlying our everyday experience. My own passion for wisdom traditions was shaped by being diagnosed with a serious illness as a child. The diagnosis of a shortened life prompted in me an intense interest in religious, philosophical and spiritual traditions. (I have been very fortunate in outliving various predictions for my lifespan and am today quite well thanks to new medications.) I adopted the notion of being an explorer, not a seeker. Seeking implies something is missing. I strongly advocate everyone engage in their own exploration, looking for oneself with honesty. I claim no authority in these conversations. I have been fortunate over time to gain perspectives which have been helpful to me and others. These videos are an attempt to share these perspectives more broadly.
